The legal definition of Stalking
The act or crime of willfully and repeatedly following or harassing another person in circumstances that would cause a reasonable person to fear injury or death especially because of express or implied threats; broadly : a crime of engaging in a course of conduct directed at a person that serves no legitimate purpose and seriously alarms, annoys, or intimidates that person
The act of stalking is derived by many personality disordered individuals but this website’s focus in relation to stalking, is geared towards the Pathological Narcissist personality type.
Pathological narcissists commonly stalk their victims while in a “relationship” and after one. In order for the narcissist to effectively stalk his victims while in a “relationship, stalking is kept a secret and out of complete awareness of the victim. After the victim escapes the narcissist, the act of stalking becomes very visible to the victim but only to the victim.
When the narcissist stalks his escaped victim, the goal is to terrorize and assist in the smear campaign. Crazy making is critical for the narcissist when conducting his smear campaign and what better way to create confusion than to stalk and deny ?
